The LGBT Chamber of Commerce foundation is seeking proposals for presenters/topics at this year’s Texas Diversity Equity & Inclusion Conference. Now in its sixth year, the Texas DEI Conference brings together local businesses, LGBTBE®, MWBE, and other certified businesses, Employee Resource Group members, and corporate diversity and supplier diversity professionals. In peer groups and professionally led sessions, attendees learn about current issues facing LGBTQ+ and other diverse businesses, gain new skills/knowledge, and share best practices.
Session topics include (but are not limited to): Advocacy, Business/Employee Resource Groups, Diversity Equity & Inclusion, DEI & Supplier Diversity Professionals, Small & Certified Businesses.

We invite you to submit a proposal for the upcoming Texas Diversity Equity & Inclusion Conference.
Various session formats are available, single or double presenter, panel discussion, or interactive roundtable panels.

We have a team of volunteers who will review the sessions. Our procedure is as follows:
- We will conduct a review of the title, abstract, and descriptions. Each reviewer will rate the session based on interactivity, relevance, and interest.
- Next, we will evaluate the top selections to ensure that we have a diverse portfolio of workshops and that we have a diverse selection of facilitators.
- We will contact the authors of the selected sessions about 1 month after the due date.
Interactive means ACTIVE participation by the audience including virtual breakout groups, question/answer, downloadable handouts or digital access to resources are provided, case studies, exercises to complete in small groups, discussion, with outcome/strategy driven applications.

Only registered conference attendees can participate in these sessions.
