Multi-discipline Scholarships

Foundation Scholarships are available to Texas students studying at any accredited school or certificate program. 

Preference is given to students who self-identify as LGBT, members of LGBT families, or allies who demonstrate significant activities in support of LGBT equality. 

Rob Ruhlin
Law
Scholarship

In 2014, the Board of Directors of the North Texas LGBT Chamber of Commerce established this scholarship as a memorial to Rob Ruhlin. Rob served as the Chamber’s General Counsel beginning in January 2013 and ending in October, 2014 when Rob died in a motorcycle accident..

Film &
Television Scholarship

Established by the OutTakes Dallas Foundation, this scholarship fund seeks to support students in Film, Television and related areas of study.

Veronica Marcum Nursing Scholarship

The Veronica Marcum Scholarship Fund was created by Candy Marcum and Carolyn Hall, long-time leaders in the LGBT equality movement, to honor Candy’s mother, Veronica Marcum.

STEM
Scholarship

In recognition of the Foundation’s 10th anniversary in 2020, the STEM Scholarship was established. This scholarship supports individuals in science, technology, engineering and math studies.
